LA PRADASELLA: OLD FARMHOUSE RESTORED AS A FAMILY HOLIDAY HOME:

Amidst the woods of Val Sambuco with its wide garden, terraced lawns, woods and swimming pool for sun lounging in complete privacy.

A short history:

In the 17th century the pradasella was situated on an old map as a military observation tower:
The Adda-river was the border between the duchy of Milan and the republic of Venice.
The mountain villages around the Pradasella were at that time notorious for smugglers and thieves.

The city of Caprino was known as a farmer trading market. Many famous inhabitants such as Puccini and Ghislanzoni left a cultural heritage.

After the unification of Italy in 1861, the Pradasella was transformed as a farmer's house.

It's typical 'cascina' balcony was used for the corn drying process.

Untill 1979 the house was only reachable through a hiking trail. in the '80 it was transformed into a holiday home with respect for the traditional style. Inside with all modern comforts for groups up to 14 people.

The position in the middle of a natural park guarantees compete silence and privacy; only 5 minutes drive from Caprino and Cisano for shopping and restaurants.
